About Me

I am an active individual committed to expanding my knowledge and experience in Cybersecurity. I have a demonstrated background working in IT and I am looking to make use of my recently attained certifications and hone a career in Cyber. I hold SC clearance in my current role and work with many high-level customers who demand nothing less than the utmost integrity and professionalism. I currently work with high-profile contracts around the UK and Europe, as part of the High-End Systems department at Fujitsu.

The key aspect that intrigues me in the field is the defense against threats. I am particularly fond of the concept of building your defenses to repel malicious attackers, just as generations before have built their castle walls high and mighty to repel foreign invaders. I enjoy reading about and researching the many clever ways attackers develop malware and what can be done to mitigate its effects, or the problem-solving involved in developing a strategy to defend against it. I also have been building up my own Home Lab environment over recent months, encompassing many aspects of both IT and Cyber Security. You can see what I've been up to in the projects tab.
